Anytime December was mentioned, Anya would make sure to tell us that December meant she was going to see the Nutcracker. She even picked out her dress. When she saw it at the store she told me it was "the perfect Nutcracker dress".
She had a blast! She got her picture taken with the Sugar Plum Fairy, had a Shirley Temple and a cookie during intermission, and fell asleep towards the very end. That is my Anya.... she will fall asleep anywhere (do we all remember the Monster Truck show?).
Thanks Mom & Sarah for taking Anya... she had a blast and is looking forward to going again next year! HINT HINT :)

Okay I love all these pictures BUT the one with Eric and his shirt off CLASSIC!! 2 reasons, first it's SOOOOO boy! Second, Ry does the same thing. She freaks if we take a pic and she's not in it so we usually have to do 2. I'm so glad Anya enjoyed going to the Nutcracker and your mom ROCKS!
So this is so weird. I have been checking your blog regularly since Halloween and this is the first time it has shown new post since the halloween one. Now I see that I have miss a bunch of them.
Anya looks so sophisticated in her "Nutcracker dress." What a beautiful girl! Annika is sitting here with me telling me that she wants to go to the nutcracker ballet with a pretty dress like Anya. I think I want to go too. Next year?
