Ka'ena Point

Ka'ena Point is a 5 mile hike to the westernmost tip of Oahu. There is no shade, some places the path was narrow or eroded completely, and the sun beats down on you the entire time. You would think that meant it was a bad hike. It was actually the exact opposite. I will always remember this hike as a great family moment!

Anya and Eric did AMAZING on this hike. 5 miles is not a short hike for an adult but for a 7 and 4 year old, it might as well be a marathon! They didn't complain, toughed through, and had a great time. We gave them piggy back rides for about the last 1/2 mile. There were monk seals at the end of the hike and the view was stunning!
