When we first got orders for Hawaii I remember Monica and I talking about how we weren't going to try and make any new friends here. I mean, we had each other and let's be honest... one of the hardest parts of being a military spouse is moving and saying goodbye. It's really hard to leave friends behind and I think we were both not wanting to do it again.
Fortunately Hawaii had other plans for us. Pretty quickly we made some AWESOME friends. Not just casual acquaintances but really good, super awesome ladies. We hang out often... beach time, brunches, girls nights, bunco, etc. We have such a great time together and I am really grateful for these friends!
