Nathan had a busy week at work (leaving before the kids woke up and getting home right at bedtime) so we knew that Saturday was going to be a family day. No distractions... just the 4 of us hanging out and enjoying time together. Anya has ballet on Saturday mornings so we took her there first and then headed straight to the zoo afterwards. I didn't take many pictures because honestly I forgot. hahaha We were just having so much fun wandering around and watching the animals.
We only stayed for about an hour and a half because El Paso weather brought in a MAJOR dust storm. The good thing is that the zoo is small enough that we still got to see all the animals in that time! :)
After the zoo we came home and got ready for a family sleepover. The boys got the living room set up with all our sleeping bags and the girls got the snacks ready. We had apple pillows (apples, raisins, & brown sugar in a crescent roll) for snack, English Muffin pizzas for dinner, watched movies, had milkshakes for dessert, and had a blast together!
We had a great day... you can't beat family time!!!
