Happy Easter!!!!!!
The kids were very excited to wake up this morning and see their Easter baskets. I think they were even more excited to see that the magic jelly beans they planted last weekend had grown into a large lollipop!
After breakfast (we had yummy carrot cake pancakes!) we had our Easter egg hunt. We hid 75 eggs and the kids had a blast finding them all. A few had candy (we tried to keep sweets to a minimum this year), some had money, and a lot of them were filled with coupons for awesome things like dates with Mommy or Daddy, movie nights, sleepovers, stay up 15 minutes late, extra bedtime stories, kids choice dinners/breakfasts, etc. They were most excited over the coupons and it was a great way to fill the eggs without using more candy!
They found a ladybug while searching for eggs!
Now we are cuddling watching a movie while the ham cooks in the oven. :) It's been a great day so far!

That sounds like such a great day! I love the coupon idea!!
I agree the coupons are a great idea! :) We had to hide the colored eggs. Lexi insisted. Then she asked why WE didn't get them anything. HAHA. The Easter Bunny is just too good to them! :)
