Uncle Sam

No, not the guy on the poster saying "I Want You", but Nathan's brother! Sam and his girlfriend, Lauren, came to stay with us for a long weekend and we LOVED having them here. Anya started calling Sam her "Detective Friend" and made him play detectives with her. By the end of the weekend, she also said Lauren was her new best friend so I would say it was a good weekend for Anya.

Eric was absolutely smitten with Uncle Sam. He wanted Sam to hold him all day, chase him around, and, more importantly, read him books. Within 10 minutes of Sam and Lauren arriving, Eric picked out a book, handed it to Sam, and stared at him like "Hello? Don't you know how to read?". It was too funny! Of course, these pictures are the only ones I took over the 4 days and I am kicking myself for that. Oh well... at least these are good ones.

By the way... Anya was passing out necklaces to people who answered questions correctly, so that is why Eric and Sam are wearing them. :)

Sam and Lauren, come back anytime!!! We had a blast!
