One of our birthday traditions is for me to make number sugar cookies for the age that the kids are. I love decorating them to fit the theme of the birthday! This year I let the kids decorate the cookies for two reasons. 1- Time got away from me and I while I had made the dough I completely forgot until the day before to make the cookies and 2- The kids are always asking to decorate them and I knew they would have a blast doing so.
To be honest, I may have them do this from now on! They had SOOOOOOO much fun! After a few cookies, they ended up having a little frosting fight (no worries... it was parent sanctioned!) and it was hilarious! They were cracking up and having the best time! These kind of moments are priceless!
