Okay, so I say ALMOST before & after because I don't have a true before picture and we aren't quite finished so I don't have a true after picture. I still wanted to share the progress, though!
When we moved in we originally were going to put in artificial turf so we wouldn't have to worry about keeping up with the grass. Then we found out we were leaving for Hawaii in 9 months and we just couldn't justify spending that much on the backyard (it would've been at least twice as much as what we paid for sod). We knew we wanted something, though, so we went with a great sod that does well in the desert. It looks great and we are happy with our choice!
In one of the pics you can see our patio. When we moved in the only patio was what was between the two columns. We extended the patio out on both sides. We are going next week to pick out some bushes for along the side and back walls.
Anyway... here is the progress so far! :)
