Anya and Eric have really started enjoying being outside for long walks/hikes. We have a big open field/desert right next to our house and every Sunday after Eric wakes up from his nap we go on an hour walk. The kids like to explore, find sticks and rocks, and occasionally see a jackrabbit running from bush to bush. It is really fun spending that time together!
We have started going to the Franklin Mountains for hiking, too. We started out on a small trail and have been going higher each time. Anya and Eric LOVE it! It makes me so happy that they enjoy spending active time outdoors. It makes me excited to go on long hikes as a family when they get older!
